Pet Shop Boys – Always on My Mind
From the counter

Mark James shares this one with Johnny Christopher and Wayne Carson Thompson, and the song has outlived every singer who touched it: Brenda Lee had it out the same year as Elvis, then Willie Nelson, then Pet Shop Boys turned it into something else entirely.
